If the dealer was competent enough, the problem would have been diagnosed and resolved much sooner. The shifter pin issue seems to be related to 700's, I did not find any shifter pin case related to 750's. Hi, I picked up a new crf1100 dct today and had major problems within 2 miles, brake's failing, abs light on, traction control light on, engine management light on and then the dct not changing gears correctly and then becoming stuck in 2nd and me having to take it back to the dealers tonight in a van. Later in its development, one of Honda's engineers came up with the wild idea of adding an automatic dual-clutch transmission to its flagship ADV, and the Africa Twin DCT was born. The DCT creep on my 2018 (ride by wire) Africa Twin had come back before it went in last week for its 8k service. I should have pointed this out to the dealer but I thought their electronic gizmo would reset it anyway as part of the service. Anyway it came back yesterday but still with the 'creep'. Honda has issued a recall on model-year 2020 and 2021 Africa Twin motorcycles. The recall states that a problem with the engine control unit and dual-clutch transmission affects close to 1,600 bikes. Problems, problems, problems.. I bought this bike and have so far put 930 miles on it, did the first oil change at 650 miles and have never brought it above 6000 RPM. The first sign that this bike might be having problems came shortly after I bought it, and rode in to work. I was at a stop, in neutral and pulled the clutch in. Bike died. But a $13,299 (6-speed), 511 pound bike with proper dirt-sized wheels is a compelling choice, if it’s true adventure you seek. My current ride is an "obsolete" 2005 R1200GS, but ya know, it carries its weight low, and the paralever/telelever suspension design truly works. Remove the oil fill plug and fit funnel into fill hole. For the DCT you will fill 4.4qt and for the Manual you will fill 4.3qt. The qt size bottle of the Honda oil has delineations of 200mL. 1 qt is 946 mL so you can roughly use the mL numbers to get a closer idea of what .4 and .3 of a qt is. Qualität/Defekte. My issue is with the TFT. I cannot use the touchscreen method, only through the switchgear. Really a pain. Told it requires a replacement screen and that more and more 20/21 models are coming in with similar issues. I bought the 2020 Africa Twin DCT AS. I like its looks, lower weight, new electronics, suspension, new frame, and DCT more than what the GSA had to offer. Most of all, the deciding factor came down to reliability. Too many issues with the Euro bikes. I believe the new AT offers the most complete package today. #16.
